Claim a vendor profile

Claim is live on every public vendor page at /vendors/{slug}. You can submit a claim signed out. Signing in attaches your Dusted user to the request and prefills Full name.

1. On the vendor header, click Claim page. A modal opens. The title reads Claim this page. The line under the title reads Claim your profile to unlock analytics, engage with the Dusted community, and grow your business through proven expertise. Close uses Close.

1. Enter Full name. The field is required and accepts up to 120 characters. If you are signed in and your profile has a name, Full name is filled from that name. You can edit it.

2. Enter Business email. The placeholder reads name@company.com. The value must be a valid email. Dusted stores it in lowercase.

3. Check I am an authorized representative of {vendorName}. Submit claim stays disabled until you check it.

4. Click Submit claim. While Dusted sends the request, the control shows Submitting. After a successful send, the title changes to Claim submitted. The body reads Please check your business inbox, Dusted will reach out to you shortly. Click Dismiss. The page is not transferred to you in this step.

5. A signed-out form still accepts Full name, Business email, the checkbox, and Submit claim. Under the form, Speed up the process? offers Sign up. Sign up does not submit the claim for you.

6. If the request cannot be stored, the form shows Could not submit claim. Correct the fields, keep the checkbox checked, and click Submit claim again. Under the form, Terms of Service opens /terms and Privacy Policy opens /privacy.

7. Claim page does not change Follow or the follower count. It does not edit Featured In or Recent Mentions. Only /vendors/{slug} shows Claim page.
