Preview before you publish
Open Preview to read the coral Preview mode banner before you publish.
You are in the editor with copy in the five sections. Preview is a mode in the same editor. There is no /preview path.
- Click Preview in the editor header. Dusted writes the current draft first. An overlay reads Turning ideas into something worth sharing. If the title and every section are empty, a toast reads Add some content first. If a save is already in error, a toast reads Fix the save error before publishing. If the row does not exist and the save fails, a toast reads Could not create case study.

-
The header turns coral and the banner reads Preview mode. The header now shows Edit and Publish. Click Edit to return to the five bodies. Interview Me does not appear in More options during Preview.
-
Hover Publish to read why it is unavailable. The tooltip uses the first matching sentence: Saving preview changes before publishing., Generating the Snapshot before publishing., Regenerate the Snapshot before publishing., Generating tags before publishing., Generate a Snapshot before publishing., Set an industry before publishing., Add at least one discipline before publishing., or Add at least one goal before publishing.
-
Read the article as readers will see it. The five headings stay The context, The challenge, The approach, The tools, and The result. The sidebar lists Snapshot, Industry, Disciplines, Goals, Collaborators, and Tools mentioned. An empty list reads None yet. Preview forces summary bullets off. Show summary is not live here.
-
Click Publish when the control is available. The control reads Publishing… and an overlay reads You’re about to create living proof of your expertise. If summary generation fails, a toast reads Could not generate the summary - try again. A successful publish moves you to
/c/plus the new slug.
Continue with Tag your case study for Industry, Disciplines, and Goals. Generate your summary and tags covers Snapshot and classification.
