Let Ranger interview you

Click Interview me on a section so Ranger can ask questions and draft.

You are already in the editor. Meet Ranger covers opening the pane. Stay in edit mode. Interview Me does not appear in More options during Preview.

  1. Focus a heading so Interview me appears. Click it to start or resume that section. Interview Me in More options opens the pane only and does not start a section.

  1. Ranger posts Let's work on the {key} section. The key is context, challenge, approach, tools, or result. The pane then shows Ranger is thinking... until the first question. Answer in Ask for changes and click Send reply. A section that already started resumes the same conversation.

  2. Reply with names, numbers, and what happened. Click Upload context to attach one file. The conversation posts I've attached plus the file name. A failed put shows Upload failed.

  3. When Ranger has enough, a draft card appears labeled with that heading, such as The context. The card can show Add to section, Replace section, and Discard.

  4. After the heading is ready or has copy, a full-width button reads Write plus the next heading that still needs work, such as Write The challenge. Click it to start that section. When every heading has copy, the button reads Review & publish. That click scrolls the editor to the top. It does not publish.

  5. Use Section progress to jump to a different heading. Click Close assistant when you want the full editor. The conversation stays.

Continue with Accept or refine Ranger drafts. Return to Meet Ranger if you need the pane again.
