Connect your agent over MCP

Open MCP, copy the MCP server URL, and connect your agent.

The MCP page is live. Your agent can prepare a draft and return an editor link. You still publish in Dusted.

  1. In the signed-in menu the first group is Home, Explore, New case study, and MCP. MCP opens /mcp and shows a new badge. Click MCP. The page is the MCP server. The heading reads Write case studies from wherever your agent already lives.

  1. The field label is MCP server URL. The value is https://mcp.dusted.io/mcp. Click Copy URL. Paste that exact URL into your client. The transport is streamable HTTP. Auth is OAuth. There is no API key.

  2. You sign in with your Dusted account and approve access in the browser. Approving lets your agent read and write your own case studies, and nothing else. It cannot publish them, delete them, comment as you, or reach another member's work. Clients ask for three sign-in scopes: openid, profile, and email. All three are required.

  3. Connect your client lists Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Hermes, and OpenClaw. The URL does not change. Only the place you paste it changes. For Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the URL, choose Add, then Connect, and switch Dusted on from the + menu in a chat. For Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http dusted https://mcp.dusted.io/mcp.

  4. What your agent can do groups twelve tools for draft and revise, tagging, publish readiness, and finding your work. The five writable sections are Context, Challenge, Approach, Tools, and Result. get_publish_readiness reports the five gates and returns the editor link. There is no publish tool. Open that editor link and use Publish there.

  5. When something goes wrong lists Unauthorized, or insufficient scope, Profile not ready, Not found, Conflict, and Temporarily unavailable. For Profile not ready, open Dusted once, finish onboarding, then retry. If you are signed in, the closing card reads Paste it and go. If you are signed out, it reads You'll need a Dusted account and offers Create an account.
