Manage your account settings
Open the Account tab in Profile settings to manage password, LinkedIn, and deactivation.
Password, LinkedIn, and deactivation live on the Account tab in Profile settings, not on General.
- Click your account photo and choose Account settings. Dusted opens Profile settings. Edit profile in the same menu opens that dialog too. On a wide screen the tabs are General, Featured Case Studies, Pins, Notifications, and Account. On a smaller screen they are General, Featured, Pins, Alerts, and Account.

Click Account. The panel heading is Account. The address becomes
/profile#account. Close uses Close settings. -
Under Password, if a password already exists, the line reads Password is configured. and the control is Edit password. If you signed in with Google or LinkedIn and have no password yet, the line reads No password set. and the control is + Add Password.

Click Edit password or + Add Password. Current password appears when a password already exists. New password and Confirm new password appear in both cases. Click Save password. Cancel leaves the fields. Stay on the panel until any Retry account update line clears.

Under LinkedIn, if nothing is linked, the line reads No LinkedIn account connected. and the control is Connect LinkedIn. If a connection exists, Reconnect LinkedIn and Disconnect sit together. Click Connect LinkedIn to start LinkedIn sign-in and return to
/profile#account. -
Click Disconnect only after a password exists. If LinkedIn is your only sign-in method, Disconnect stays disabled and the panel reads LinkedIn is your only sign-in method. Add a password in the Password section above, then you can disconnect it.

Under Deactivate account, the line reads You will be signed out and unable to log back in. Your published content stays visible. Contact support to reactivate. Click Deactivate account. A second dialog asks Deactivate your account? Confirm with Yes, deactivate my account. A successful deactivation signs you out and opens
/sign-in. Published case studies and your public profile stay visible.
