Complete onboarding

Enter your name, role, industry or employer, and disciplines, then finish.

You already have a Dusted account. If you do not, start at Create your account. Signed-out visitors who open /onboarding are sent to /sign-in.

  1. After sign-up, Dusted sends incomplete members to /onboarding. You cannot use the signed-in product until this flow is done. If you leave and return later, Dusted resumes at the first incomplete step. Back walks you to an earlier screen; it never leaves the flow.

  1. On the first Confirm your profile screen, enter Your first name and Your last name. A photo is required. Click the circle (Change profile photo) and choose a jpeg, png, or webp file of 5 MB or less. A LinkedIn account photo counts. Click Continue. If a field is missing, the screen asks you to add your first name, last name, and profile photo.

  2. The next screen is still titled Confirm your profile. Enter Your most recent role. Then enter Your most recent employer, or turn on Don't show my employer on my public profile. That control replaces the employer field with Your primary industry, which opens at Search industries. Industry is required when the employer is hidden, and skipped when the employer stays visible. Click Continue.

  3. On Choose your disciplines, pick at least two. The subtitle is These help shape what Dusted surfaces first. Click Continue. The flow will not advance until two or more are selected. If the list fails to load, the screen shows a warning in place of the picker; reload /onboarding and try again.

  4. On Invite your peers, add up to 20 emails in Invite peers via email, or share Copy invite link. Click Send invite when you have addresses. If invite emails fail, retry or click Skip. Sending at least one invite, or clicking Skip, finishes the flow.

  5. Dusted then opens Home at /me, or the page you were going to if you arrived with one. From Home you can start a case study, or follow Earn your Founding Member patch if that prompt appears.

If you still need an account, return to Create your account. After you land on Home, read Find your way around.
