Complete the founding-member checklist

The checklist sits at the top of Home at /me.

1. Open Home. The first card is headed Earn your Founding Member patch. The heading can include a deadline after a middle dot, in the style by Sep 30, 2026. If a deadline is showing, treat it as the last day to finish every step. The fraction on the right uses the form n/5 unlocked.

1. The five rows are Complete your profile, Publish your first case study, Support the community, Share one piece of feedback, and Invite five marketers. Extra copy lives in the info-icon tooltip labeled About plus that row, for example About Complete your profile. A finished row shows a check. An open row shows its step number.

2. Click Complete your profile. Dusted opens /profile#edit and records the step when those settings open. You do not have to save First name, Last name, Avatar, or Current role first. The tooltip says Help the community get to know you.

3. Click Publish your first case study. Dusted opens /c/case-study/new. Starting a draft does not finish this step. You earn it when you publish. The tooltip says Share your expertise through a real marketing project.

4. Click Support the community. Dusted opens Explore at /explore. Upvote, comment on, or pin content from five different marketers. Engagement on your own work does not count.

5. Click Share one piece of feedback. Dusted opens the Share feedback form. Signed-in members see Your feedback. Click Send feedback. A successful send shows Thank you. You can also open the same form from the Feedback tab. A guest submission does not complete this step.

6. Click Invite five marketers. Dusted opens Search at /search, where the Invite your peers card sends email invites. Invites sent from onboarding or by mentioning someone in a case study count too. The step completes when you have invited five different email addresses. Whether they join does not matter, and copying your invite link does not count. The tooltip says Grow the founding community by inviting your peers.

7. When the counter reaches 5/5 unlocked on or before the deadline, Dusted awards the Founding Member patch. The rows stay on Home with checks, and the patch appears with your other patches. There are no extra checklist rows.

When you are ready to write, start at Start a new case study. For the rest of Home, return to Find your way around.
