Join from an invite
Open an invite link so Dusted attaches it to the account you create.
Someone already on Dusted sent you an invite URL like /invite/{code}. Members copy it from Copy invite link on Invite your peers. An invite email uses the same kind of link.
- Open the
/invite/{code}link. A valid code remembers the invite and sends you to Sign up at/sign-up. An unknown code sends you to/with no invite attached. Starting at/sign-upon your own skips attaching the invite.

-
Create the account from that Sign up path. The modal is the same one in Create your account. Choose Continue with LinkedIn or Continue with email. If you chose email, the modal title becomes Create your account. Enter Email and Password, then click Continue. The next screen is Verification code. Enter the code and click Verify email. If the inviter sent an email invite, use the same email they used.
-
Dusted attaches the invite when you open onboarding at
/onboarding. That is when it records who referred you, if the invite is still valid. -
Finish onboarding. On Invite your peers, add emails (up to 20) in Invite peers via email and click Send invite, share Copy invite link, or click Skip. Sending at least one invite, or clicking Skip, finishes the flow. Dusted then opens Home at
/me. -
If you are already signed in, a valid invite URL does not reopen Sign up. Dusted sends you to Explore at
/explore. The invite is for a new member; it does not create a second account for you.
Tagging someone in a case study can also send an invite email. Open that invite URL and follow the same steps.
If Sign up or onboarding fails after a valid invite, return to the same /invite/{code} link and create the account from that Sign up path again. For an email invite, use the address the inviter sent to.
Then finish Complete onboarding. If you still need an account, open the invite URL first, then follow Create your account.
