Upvote and bookmark
Upvote, bookmark, and copy a share link from the engagement row.
The engagement row appears on cards in Explore, on Home, on profiles, and on the published reading page. Signed-out clicks on Upvote ({n}), Bookmark ({n}), or Share send you to sign in, then back to the same page.
- Find the row. The controls run in this order: Upvote, comments, views, pin, Bookmark, and Share. Views is a count, not a button. Featured cards on a profile narrow the row to upvote and comments.

-
The upvote control is named Upvote ({n}). The bookmark control is named Bookmark ({n}). Share has no count. An active upvote or bookmark turns the control pink.
-
Click Upvote ({n}). The count rises by one. Click it again to remove your upvote. A failed write restores the prior count and can show Could not update engagement. You can upvote a case study and a comment as separate actions.
-
Click Bookmark ({n}). The count rises by one. Click it again to remove the bookmark. You can bookmark a case study or a comment. Both kinds land on the same bookmarks page.
-
Click Share. The first row reads Copy link. A toast reads Link copied, or Could not copy link if the copy fails. On a device that can share a URL, Share via… opens the system share sheet.
-
My Bookmarks opens
/c/bookmarks. The page heading is Bookmarks. An empty page reads Nothing bookmarked yet. Tap the bookmark on any case study or comment to keep it here. -
Pin ({n}) sits between views and Bookmark ({n}). That control pins or unpins the whole case study. Bookmarks live on My Bookmarks. Pins live on your profile.
Explore published work gets you onto those cards. Pin a quote covers selecting a passage.
