Tag the tools you used

Type / to tag a catalog tool or add a tool that is only on this case study.

Tool tags live in the section bodies, not in the title. Type @ when you want a person.

  1. Type / in a section body. The menu Tag a tool opens. The first row reads Tag a tool — start typing to search.

  1. Start typing a tool name. The status row reads Searching…. Matches show a name, and can show a vendor and category. If no tool matches, the row reads No tools found. Click a name, or use the arrow keys and press Enter. After Dusted saves, that tool is on this case study.

  2. Add a tool that is not in the catalog. After the draft has saved, a trailing row reads Add a new tool, or Add new tool “{name}” when you have typed a query. Click it. The dialog title is Add new tool. The description reads Adds a tool that isn’t in the catalog. It will only be used on this case study. Tool name and Tool URL are required. The Tool URL placeholder is https://example.com. Click Add tool. Empty Tool name reads Tool name is required. A name over the limit reads At most 100 characters. A URL over the limit reads At most 2000 characters. A URL that does not start with http:// or https:// reads Enter the tool's URL (starting with http:// or https://). A failed add can read Could not add tool.

  3. Click Preview. The sidebar heading is Tools mentioned, not The tools. An empty list reads None yet. Click Add tool and type in Search tools. That add does not insert a / tag into the body. The cap errors read At most 50 tools and At most 50 custom tools per case study. Each row has Remove plus that tool's name.

Type @ for a person in Mention collaborators. Place media in Add images and files. How vendor mentions work covers catalog tools and /vendors/{slug}.
