Mention collaborators
Type @ to tag a member or send an Invite to Dusted email.
Mentions live in the section bodies, not in the title. Type / when you want a tool instead.
- Type
@in a section body. The menu Mention a user opens. The first row reads Mention a user — start typing to search.

-
Start typing a name. The status row reads Searching…. Matches show a photo and a name. People you follow sort toward the top. If nobody matches, the row reads No people found. Click a name, or use the arrow keys and press Enter. After Dusted saves, that member is a collaborator on this case study.
-
Invite someone who is not on Dusted. After the draft has saved, a trailing row reads Invite “{typed text}” to Dusted. Click it. The dialog title is Invite to Dusted. The description reads They’ll get an email invite and show up here once they join. Name is filled from what you typed; its placeholder is Full name. Email starts empty; its placeholder is name@company.com. Click Send invite. Empty Name reads Name is required. A bad address reads Enter a valid email address. Your own address reads You cannot invite your own email. A failed send can read Could not send invite or Could not invite collaborator.
-
Click Preview. A banner reads Preview mode. The Collaborators sidebar reads None yet when empty. Invited people who have not joined show an Invited badge and their email. After you publish, pending rows leave the sidebar. Click Add collaborator, then type in Search people. The cap error reads At most 10 collaborators. Each row has Remove plus that person's name.
The person who received the email follows Join from an invite. Comment and mention covers @ on a published story, where Invite to Dusted does not appear. Tag the tools you used covers /.
